How Much Sleep Do Dogs Need? Why Rest Is Essential for Behaviour
One thing we learned quickly with our dogs, especially puppies, is this:

Dogs need more sleep than you think
- Puppies: up to 18–20 hours a day
- Adult dogs: around 12–16 hours
